ENERGY COMMITTEE POTLUCK DINNER
The Acworth Energy Committee is hosting a "Good Energy Potluck" on Friday, December 19 at 7:30 at Acworth Town Hall.
We would like to show a short (15 minute) film and invite members and friends of all local Energy Groups, including the FMRHS Green Group, to give brief presentations about what they're up to.
The HS group might even do a re-fashion show!
Please come to this "energetic" holiday party to celebrate and share small footprint ways to have holiday fun.
We invite everyone and anyone to learn more about their regional Energy Committees, learn how to have a Green Christmas (and Hanukkah), and just have a great meal and party!
Please call or email Alice Fogel with questions or for more info:603-835-6783 alice@lyriccouture.com
AEC Mission Statement
The Mission of the Acworth Energy Committee is to help the town find ways to reduce its fossil fuel consumption in town buildings and vehicles, and to develop strategies to help private citizens consume less fuel in their homes and travels.
Whether one believes in global warming or not, taking steps to reduce our dependence on non-renewable fuels like oil makes sense. It will result in a cleaner, healthier environment for future generations, wean the nation slowly off its dependence on oil and save consumers millions in energy costs.
We must act now to move our country toward a clean energy economy based on solar and wind power.
