I would like to thank everyone that voted for me on March 9th. It turned out to be a wonderful experience to be able to have the opportunity to campaign this time around. I enjoyed the whole process and getting out there to talk with many of you. I would like to say a special thanks to those of you that helped me with the campaign. I’m looking forward to another 3 years of service to you.
 
I want to remind you that dog licenses will be expiring April 30th. You can register your dog in person at my office, Monday through Wednesday 6:30 - 8:00 PM or Saturday 9:00-11:00 AM. You now have the option to renew online by going to the town website at www.acworth.cc. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the icon that says dog licensing. When you are prompted for the prior license number, enter 09 - in front of the license number (i.e. 09-123). If you do not have Internet access, and you would prefer renewing by mail, send a check and copy of the rabies certificate to:

The following is the breakdown of costs:
 
Puppy (ages 4-7 months) $6.50
Neutered or spayed dogs $6.50
Unaltered male of female dog $9.00
Senior citizen dog $2.00 (owner who is 65 years old or older on the first dog only)
Group licenses for 5 or more dogs $20.00
 
If you no longer own your dog, contact my office or email me at atclerk@sover.net. I will then update your record so that you do not receive any future notices.
