GREEN UP DAY
Meet 8:30 AM at the Town Hall
for trash bags and road assignments.
It’s that time of year again, show your support and come out for a day of green up fun! Trash bags will be given out on clean up day and are currently available at the Acworth Transfer Station. If there is a road that you would like to clean up on May 7th or before that date please contact Shawn Bowman at 863-2961.
Wear sturdy footwear, gloves and bright colors to make yourself as visible as possible. Bring a bucket for broken glass. Volunteers are needed for short and long assignments, so come for as long as you can and let the organizers know what you can do. Children are always welcomed. For safety, children must work with their parents or the adult they came with.
The benefits are great too. Spend a day doing good work and connect with other members of our fine community. Participants get a free ice cream or soda from the Village Store!
