UPDATE OF ’10 PROGRAM:
Milfoil Program will receive $1,000 this year, down $500 from last year with one reason being that the state will not receive any federal funding for the program and they had an unemployment compensation expenses for some last hosts. State program expenses this year will be 12% instead of 10% deducted from each lake program. Grant money allows $10/hr for hosts. Our hosts receive $10.25/hr. Our program makes up the difference. End result of these differences is approximately $500 from last year for which there is available money.
The state will be sent $4,000 payroll money in May with another $3,000 sent in July and the balance sent in September.
Mark Wilson commented that all the lake hosts will be returning this year. A rough schedule has been put together which will start Memorial Day weekend and go thru to the Labor Day weekend. The state has dropped the age for hosts from 18 to 16 with an allowance for age 15 with parental permission.

Weed Captain Stan Rastallis Report: Water testing schedules are: Monday, June 14th and Monday, August 23rd. State testing is Monday, July 12th for bacteria only. The swim around the lake will be Saturday, June 19th at 10 AM.
Stan informed the committee that there is a water test that can detect other sources of ecoli. It was agreed if water testing shows high ecoli in certain areas, this test should be done to find the source.
Fred Yates has found a source of bass to restock the lake.

Yard sale this year will be on Saturday, August 21st.
Bill Paton has agreed to write our article for the Chronicle again this year.
