My name is Sharon Symonds and I am running for the position of Town Clerk of Acworth.
My husband Bill and I have lived in Acworth for 25 years and raised our family here. Our children attended Acworth School and we have been involved with the schools and community for many years.
SHARON SYMONDS – FOR THREE-YEAR TERM AS TOWN CLERK
I worked at The Orchard School in Alstead for 10 years as a preschool/kindergarten teacher and also served as a Teacher/ Director and Teacher Representative to the Board of Trustees. I have bookkeeping and computer skills and experience working directly with people.
I can be flexible with the Town Clerk office hours and would consider changing and or adding some daytime hours for more convenience.
I would enjoy working in my own community, being helpful to residents, working co-operatively with Town Officials and Boards and serving the Town of Acworth in this position.
