Acworth
- A free Diabetes Risk Assessment with blood sugar screening will be held on Tuesday, August 3 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Community Aid Building in South Acworth.
Nurses from Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services will be available to offer the blood sugar screening, and to assess individuals for their risk for diabetes.
The screening is available for Acworth residents over age 18. No appointment is necessary, and there is no charge for Acworth residents. The Nurse Is In is being offered to Acworth residents, funded by the Faithful, Richard and Clarence Jeffrey Memorial Visiting Nurse Fund.
